It’s ok if you’re uncertain of what’s in store for you after you walk into our church. All churches are different, and each of our services takes on a life of it’s own. Our 8 o’clock worship is full of organ, keyboard, drums and the high energy that gospel music ushers into worship. The 11 o’clock is more subdued with more organ and less drums, but is centered in our Anglican/Episcopal tradition. On first Sundays we celebrate our Youth Sunday where our young people read scripture, serve as the ushers and even, preach!
Every Sunday and Wednesday we celebrate the Holy Eucharist where all are invited to come forward and share in Holy Communion. The Holy Meal of God.
Our only hope is for St. Augustine’s to feel comfortable and enjoyable so that you can hear and receive the Word of God.
Parking & Transportation
There is free street parking available, in the surrounding area of the church, however we do encourage you to arrive with enough time to get a good spot. Taking public transportation? No problem! The B8 stops right across the street from the church.
Finding A Seat
When you enter the building you will be greeted by a member of our Usher Board. They will escort you to the Sanctuary and assist you in finding an available seat.
Your Children
We encourage you to bring your children to church! St.Augustine’s has a wonderful and secure children’s ministry where your child will enjoy a fun and engaging environment with age-appropriate activities. Our Children’s Formation takes place at 9:30 am and is located in our Patterson Hall located to the left of the main entrance.
What To Wear
When you visit St. Augustine’s, you will see a range of attire that’s as diverse as the church family itself. Some will dress in casual street clothes, others business casual, while some choose more formal attire. We are committed to welcoming you just as you are and encourage you to dress however you feel most comfortable for our gatherings.
